Typically, the Hydra Expert Advisors are lower risk Forex traders, especially when trading across multiple forex pairs in a portfolio.
We do however recognise that there are trading customers that seek a more aggressive trading strategy and are willing to take more risk in order to accelerate their profits.
To this end, we have embarked upon a new project codenamed Hydra Max. Our objective here is to share this journey with our readers in an open and transparent manner.
We anticipate some difficulties in achieving our objective, and we will note all our successes and failures as we design, build, configure and live test Hydra Max.
Hydra Max objectives
1. Starting account balance of $500 (we will hold further funds in the wallet to protect the account as required)
2. Double the $500 as fast and safely as possible (our final objective will be to do this within 5 days of the account starting)
3. On doubling the account, it will be split into 2 $500 accounts and the pattern will repeat
4. This will be done until we have 10 $500 accounts and ultimately $9,500 in profit
Hydra Max trading rules
We will begin our design and config using a core set of rules, which will adapt over the weeks as we learn the best configuration for Hydra Max
1. Utilise the core Hydra Lynx platform
2. Identify and trade between 5-10 high volatility forex pairs with a starting lot size of 0.01
3. Use a currency breach of 20% (if any pair breaches 20% Drawdown, no new orders will be opened on other pairs)
4. Enable order hedging

Hydra Max iterative optimisations
Ay Hydra we strongly believe in failing fast, and this will be no exception. As we iterate through our configurations and optimisations, we plan to do so in 1-2 week cycles to reach the target performance as fast as possible.
